Every day, our Volunteers greet and speak with students and teachers, explaining American customs and traditions while learning the same from our Nepali community.

Nepal was among the first country to welcome Peace Corps Volunteers in 1962. Since then, nearly 4,000 Americans have volunteered across the country in the areas of education and food security. SJSS is a proud Peace Corps partner.
