Shree Janak Secondary School is one of the oldest, most reputable, and well-established educational institutions in Bagmati Province, situated in the peaceful and culturally rich setting of Namobuddha - 4, Kavrepalanchok.
Established in 2029 B.S., the school has been serving generations of students with distinction. In recent years, it has been recognized as a Nepal Government Model School, a testament to its sustained dedication to educational advancement.

The school’s founding was the result of collective efforts from visionary intellectuals, committed educators, social workers, and active community members. Academic Programs and Streams

Shree Janak Secondary School offers dual-medium instruction in Nepali and English, with classes ranging from Playgroup/Nursery to Grade 12. The school serves approximately 1,200 students from various parts of Nepal.

Academic streams include:

• Animal Science / पशु विज्ञान

• Pure Science / शुद्ध विज्ञान

• Hotel Management/होटल व्यवस्थापन

• Computer Science / कम्प्युटर विज्ञान

In addition, the school provides hostel facilities for about 50 students, creating a safe and nurturing residential learning environment.

Practical Learning & Livelihood Programs

To bridge the gap between theory and practice, the school promotes experiential learning through practical and income-generating projects. Under the “Learning by Doing and Earning” philosophy, students gain hands-on skills in agriculture and animal husbandry.

Ongoing practical projects include:

• Goat farming (Around 50 goats distributed to students)

• Cow and buffalo farming

• Paddy, vegetable, and multi-crop farming

These projects promote vocational learning, self-reliance, and entrepreneurial spirit among students.
